This is the 13th year of our free rugby clinic for the youth in our community. We look forward to this event every year and enjoy seeing the joy from the young athletes learning about the game we love. Come out to PV High School. Clinic will run 9am -11am. Check In starts at 8:30am. Print the form below and skip the lines. This is a non-contact clinic that focuses on ball handling and will include a free T-shirts to all participants, while supplies last. All you need are cleats, though a water bottle is recommended. It is a good idea to wear wear a few layers that can easily be removed.
About Our Youth Program:
We began in 2012 with a U10 and U12 team and 30 players. We now have six age groups from ages 8-18 years and over 130 players in the program.
- We pride ourselves on teaching the rugby culture which consist of:
- Respect of leadership and your opponent
- Integrity and confidence
- Communication and teamwork
- The Chico Police Officers Association (CPOA) has been our biggest supporter since we began in 2012 and continues today.
- Our players will gain speed, strength and endurance. Rugby players learn to make quick decisions and problem solving skills on and off the pitch.
